CX600 Series Overview

The CX600 metro services platform is designed by Huawei to meet mobile transport networks' service and development requirements. Generally deployed at the aggregation or core layer of mobile transport networks, the CX600 series can work with Huawei ATN series routers to provide E2E multi-service transport solutions for wireless service and private line scenarios.

Leveraging distributed hardware-based forwarding and non-blocking switching technologies, the CX600 series features line-rate forwarding capabilities, excellent scalability, and strong service processing capabilities. To ensure reliable service transport, the CX600 is equipped with powerful service access and aggregation capabilities and supports flexible deployment of various services, such as L2VPN, L3VPN, EVPN, multicast VPN, Segment Routing-Multiprotocol Label Switching (SR-MPLS), and Segment Routing IPv6 (SRv6).

The CX600 series includes devices that are applicable to networks of different scales: CX600-X16A, CX600-X8A.

  • Innovative In-situ Flow Information Telemetry (iFIT) technology: enables in-band flow detection within milliseconds, accurately restores service paths, and works with iMaster NCE to implement correlation analysis for service experience and network KPIs, allowing faults to be intelligently demarcated within minutes.
  • Efficient O&M: supports RFC 2544- and Y.1564-compliant tests for measuring network performance through simulated and self-sent packets, as well as one-click automated O&M tools, helping carriers simplify O&M and minimize OPEX.
