The EchoLife HS8245W is a smart home gateway of Huawei FTTH solutions. It provides 2 POTS ports, 4 GE ports, dual-band Wi-Fi (standards compliance: 802.11a/b/g/n/ac), and 2 USB ports. The HS8245W supports plug-and-play, remote diagnosis, and energy conservation features. The HS8245W uses GPON technologies to ensure ultra-bandwidth access for home users. The high-performance forwarding capability of the device guarantees a stable voice, data, and 4K video experience, making the device future-oriented and an ideal terminal for FTTH deployment.

Support for various ports: 2 POTS+4 GE+2 USB+dual-band Wi-Fi (2.4 GHz & 5 GHz).

Ease of operation: Home terminals, such as PCs and set-top boxes, can connect to any Ethernet ports on the HS8245W. The HS8245W supports both SIP and H.248 protocols, simplifying interconnection with the softswitch.

Plug-and-play: The HS8245W supports OMCI and TR069 protocols, allowing voice, broadband, and multicast services to be automatically provisioned without onsite parameter configuration.

Remote diagnosis: Remote fault locating can be achieved through loop-line tests on POTS ports, call emulation, and PPPoE dial-up emulation. The HS8245W supports remote Wi-Fi diagnosis on the Huawei O&M platform Network Cloud Engine (NCE), enabling Wi-Fi topology visualization, one-click Wi-Fi diagnosis, automatic Wi-Fi optimization, very annoyed person (VAP) identification, as well as guest management, parental control, and Wi-Fi blacklist management.

High-speed forwarding: In a Network Address Translation (NAT) scenario, Layer 2 and Layer 3 forwarding can achieve 1 Gbit/s upstream and 2 Gbit/s downstream transmission rates.

Energy conservation: The HS8245W uses a highly-integrated SoC chip, which integrates the PON, voice, gateway, and LSW modules, helping to reduce device power consumption by 25%.

Powerful Wi-Fi performance: The HS8245W supports 3×3 MIMO at the 2.4 GHz band (802.11b/g/n) and 4×4 MIMO at the 5 GHz band (802.11a/n/ac).
