The WA8011Y is an 802.11ac tri-band 3800 Mbps HGW and the flagship HGW of the Huawei PremiumWi-Fi solution for VR services. It has a dedicated 5 GHz RF circuit and frequency band for upstream transmission to ensure maximum uplink bandwidth. It also provides users with a downstream dual-band Wi-Fi connection, and supports intelligent mesh networking and flexible application. The WA8011Y supports plug-and-play, remote O&M, and diagnosis on the Network Cloud Engine (NCE). The device has a compact design and has won the prestigious iF Product Design Award and Red Dot Design award in 2018. The WA8011Y is a green and energy-saving product which complies with COC V6, the optimal choice for deploying home networks.Supported port types: 1 GE WAN+1 GE LAN+2.4 GHz & 5 GHz Wi-Fi.
Premium Wi-Fi network: The WA8011Y supports plug-and-play, automatic Wi-Fi SSID synchronization, automatic channel switching, band steering, and 802.11K/V roaming.
Operation, maintenance, and management: The WA8011Y supports remote Wi-Fi diagnosis on the Huawei O&M platform Net Cloud Engine (NCE), which supports Wi-Fi topology visualization, one-button Wi-Fi diagnosis, automatic Wi-Fi optimization, poor quality of experience identification, as well as guest management, parental control, and Wi-Fi blacklist management.
Excellent QoS: The WA8011Y supports Wi-Fi Multimedia (WMM), comprehensive Wi-Fi service management, and QoS tagging and packet retransmission. This ensures reliable VR performance over Wi-Fi.
