OSN 1800 Series

The OptiX OSN 1800 series includes the OptiX OSN 1800 V, OptiX OSN 1800 II, OptiX OSN 1800 II E, OptiX OSN 1800 I E, and OptiX OSN 1800 I. The OptiX OSN 1800 integrates both WDM and OTN features, and implements the unified transmission of various services at the metro network edge, including broadband, private line, and mobile services. It supports the access of all services at data rates between 2 Mbit/s and 100 Gbit/s, unified switching of OTN/SDH/PKT services, and automatic commissioning at the optical layer. By providing these features, the OptiX OSN 1800 flattens networks, reduces network deployment and O&M costs, and is ideal for various metro transmission scenarios.

Ultra-high bandwidth

  • Supports 80 x 200G DWDM capacity at the optical layer, meeting increasing bandwidth requirements of metro aggregation and access in the FMC 2.0 era.
  • Implements unified switching of OTN/VC/PKT services to greatly improve bandwidth utilization.
  • Integrates the MPLS-TP function so that the OSN 1800 can be used together with the OSN 8800 and OSN 9800 to support E2E MPLS-TP networking.

All service scenarios

  • Supports a wide array of services, including E1, E3, T3, FE, GE, STM-N, 10GE, 100GE, CPRI, eCPRI, FC, and SAN.
  • Supports various service scenarios, such as fixed broadband, mobile backhaul, and private lines.

Clock

Supports the transmission of 2M, IEEE 1588v2, and synchronous Ethernet clocks to satisfy the clock precision requirements of 3G, 4G, and 5G networks.

Flexible installation

  • 1 U and 2 U chassis can be installed in a cabinet, on a wall, or on a pole.
  • 1 U, 2 U, and 5 U chassis can be installed in a 19- or 23-inch standard cabinet.

Environmental protection

  • Uses AC/DC power supplies.
  • Achieves flexible deployment anywhere due to a case-shaped design.
  • Reduces power consumption. A typical 1 U chassis consumes only 25 W power, similar to a desk lamp.

NCE-T

Through the NCE-T, the OptiX OSN 1800 can implement E2E control, fast provisioning, and intelligent O&M in all service scenarios.
