OceanStor Pacific 9950 High-Density, High-Performance Distributed Storage

OceanStor Pacific 9950 High-Density, High-Performance Distributed Storage

OceanStor Pacific 9950 takes full advantage of all Non-Volatile Memory express (NVMe) Solid State Drives (SSDs) for its primary storage, with each 5 U chassis housing a maximum of 8 storage nodes. Powered by a full Peripheral Component Interconnect express (PCIe) 4.0 design, each chassis provides a raw capacity ranging from 128 TB to 614.4 TB as well as up to 160 GB/s bandwidth and 6.4 million IOPS, delivering 30% higher performance density per U than competing products. Its key features are as follows:

  • Half-palm high-density NVMe SSDs are used to deliver 33% more all-flash media per unit space.
  • Each node is equipped with 32 GB dedicated power-protected memory to ensure memory-level low latency for access to critical data.
  • The 1:1:1.25 optimal bandwidth ratio between front-end, data, and media interfaces fully unleashes the potential of processors.
  • With such industry-leading performance, OceanStor Pacific 9950 provides efficient data access services for scenarios including High-Performance Computing (HPC), intelligent applications, and big data analytics.
